You can call it sad or naive, but I think it’s a beautiful thing that he doesn’t believe people are born evil. He’s upset about Ward, without a doubt, but he still believes that there is some good in him.

He stuck with Coulson because, in times like these, you stick with the guy you believe in.

Hell, he even had faith in Donnie Gil. He not once saw Donnie as the guilty party. He saw a kid who was being used and just wanted a friend.

Yeah okay that last example wasn’t so great but I think I got my point across

Leo Fitz has a kind of faith that’s pretty pure for someone who’s seen a lot of violent shit go down and who’s just witnessed the surfacing of the corruption within SHIELD

It must be protected at all costs.
